Rosemary was defeated by Taya two days later. Rosemary and Taya developed a rivalry planned to result in a tournament @ Bound For Glory 2017, but she could not attend the event because of Visa complications. Taya made a comeback and rekindled her feud with Rosemary on the Impact episode that aired on March 1, 2018.

The feud was resolved in the April 12 Impact episode with only a demon’s dance competition, which Rosemary won. Following this, Taya vanished from Impact until her babyface comeback in September, when she faced Tessa Blanchard for said Impact Knockouts Championship. Tessa narrowly held the Championship at Bound in Glory XIV by pinning Taya with the ropes. As the feud continued, Taya received another championship opportunity on Impact 3 weeks later. Tessa successfully defended her Championship by confronting the referee and getting herself disqualified.

Gail Kim joined the conflict and officiated the comeback at Impact Wrestlers Homecoming as a special guest referee. Taya defeated Tessa Blanchard there to claim the Knockouts Championship. Taya and Blanchard’s street brawl in the episode of February 15 that was filmed in Mexico put an end to the feud.
